Before becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Brent Herrera gained valuable people skills working in the hospitality industry, including roles as a bartender, assistant manager, and pizza maker at a local pizza restaurant. These early experiences shaped his belief in the importance of building personal relationships — a philosophy he carries into every client interaction. Brent takes pride in offering tailored guidance and being a lifelong financial resource to those he serves.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in Economics, from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Brent holds the CFP® designation and Financial Services Certified Professional® through the American College of Financial Services and maintains his Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations, along with Life and Health insurance licenses. This comprehensive licensing allows him to design holistic financial strategies aligned with each client's goals.
Originally from Van Nuys, California, Brent now resides in Concord with his wife, Morgan, their son, and their beloved exotic bully dog. Outside of work, he enjoys playing adult softball, golfing, lifting weights, and hiking. He also volunteers his time as a Board Director for the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, where he is deeply involved in supporting the local business community.
Throughout his career, Brent has consistently taken on leadership roles — driven by a desire to foster positive change and growth. Today, he continues that mission by helping individuals, families, and business owners make confident, informed decisions about their financial futures.
